Lately I have been working alot, between school projects, homework, internships and just everyday life. All of these things have caused me to become attached to my calendar and my Blackberry. But at the same time, I feel like I have also developed my time management skills to a level that could never be attained if I was just attending classes.
This is very important to me, especially as I look forward to entering the workforce within the next year. In the public relations field, specifically, being able to manage client files, time lines and deadlines, is a very important aspect of the job.
I encourage my fellow undergraduates to think about taking on some responsibilities outside of their normal classes. Even if they don't have to necessarily work to pay for college or other expenses, the experience of having to manage one's time will pay off tenfold in the future.

What type of PR do I want to practice
While signing up for a networking website today, I was asked "What type of PR are you interested in?" I have never really thought about what type of PR I would like to practice upon graduation. I mean, I think I would prefer an agency setting over the corporate setting because of the variation of clientele and the ability to work with so many different people.
The question has kind of stumped me and I am really going to start thinking about it a lot more as I get closer to graduation..
